All of us were born in Washington State, but we have called Indonesia home since 2004. We love living and serving in Surabaya, Indonesia, where John is the lead pastor at International Christian Assembly (ICA). Together, with ICA, we are involved in several ministries that reach our local community and spread across the islands of Indonesia. More info here.
We are looking to establish a univiersity ministry in Malawi! Our goal will be to assess the needs, current campus realities, and discover how we can come alongside the national church to reach and disciple Malawi's next generation of leaders. We also get the oppportunity to initiate a compassion outreach through sustainable agriculture education. This is a Gospel-centric method of farming that will incorporate the Good News into everything we teach.
Students are God’s powerful resource for redeeming a lost, broken world. They are on the eager edge of life—ready to be launched into His mission. In Chi Alpha we "find, feed and fight for" these students on campus, and teaching the skills to disciple others in the halls around them. Pacific NW Chi Alpha is our network of college ministries in Washington, N. Idaho, Oregon, and Alaska. Our vision is to see Chi Alpha student groups on more campuses throughout the Pacific Northwest.

We have chosen to live our lives by making, “dangerous prayers.” A dangerous prayer is asking God to use us to share the gospel to whoever and wherever that may be. We are called to share Christ to the unreached of Central Eurasia as part of a church planting team. We want to see Muslims across Central Eurasia be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit and the Hope of Jesus Christ remove the chains of bondage. Our goal is to see a movement across the Muslim world, of disciples that make disciples in a strategic church planting movement.
